The device (1) has a semiconductor substrate (2) covered on faces of a screen (3) i.e. organic LED-type microdisplay. The screen has an electric connection zone (5) exterior to an active zone (4). The screen is integrated with a shield plate (11) via a glue (10) i.e. epoxy or acrylate glue. Adherence promoting inorganic layers (15, 16) are applied on an assembly face (11a) of the shield plate and on the screen, respectively. The layers are compatible with the glue, where the layers are compatible with surfaces of the assembly face and the screen, respectively. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an electronic display device.
