Cosmetic composition comprises at least one polymer comprising at least one acid function and at least an amino neutralizing agent to neutralize at least part of the polymer, in a medium. R 1-R 3H, 4-32C aromatic carbon (optionally branched and/or cyclic, (un)saturated and optionally substituted by one or more radicals of OR or NRR1a and/or optionally interrupted by 1-4 heteroatoms of N, O, Si or S); and R, R1a : H or 1-6C alkyl. Provided that R 1, R 2and R 3can not be all three simultaneously equal to H. An independent claim is included for a cosmetic treatment, preferably make-up, protecting, cleaning, coloring and maintaining of keratin fibers, skin of the body or face, lips, eyelashes, nails and hair, comprising applying the composition on the keratin fibers.
