The aid for the marketing of articles of clothing, comprising at least one display screen (2), video acquisition means (3) for acquiring the image of a user (P), and computer processing means (4) connected to the display screen and the video acquisition means. The computer processing means (4) are designed to perform the following functions: - creation of a background layer (layer 0) from at least one prerecorded background image, - automatic image trimming of the user in the information flow or streams delivered by the video acquisition means (3), and creation of a second layer (layer 1) from the cut-out image of the user, - creation of at least one third informational layer (layer 2, ...) from prerecorded information, composition of a final image fixed by superposition of the first, second and third layers, display of the final image on the viewing screens (2).
