The material according to the invention, for the reduction of a fracture, in particular of a distal radius fracture, comprises: an osteosynthesis plate with an elongate body part extended by a monobloc head part, said part head comprising orifices adapted for a "poly-axial" mounting of fastening screws, - a barrel-type device provided with through orifices adapted to serve as a guide for said fastening screws, - orifices piercing means with a set of adapted forests, - a first drilling barrel whose threaded end is adapted to be screwed into one of the nuts of the plate head, the latter being devoid of the barrel block, to allow the realization a pre-hole in the bone by a "poly-axial" type of technique, and a second drilling barrel adapted to cooperate with one of the orifices of said barrel block positioned on said plate head in order to allow the realization of a pilot hole in the bone by a technique of "mono-axial" type.
