PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid fuel gasification burner which suppresses the occurrence of a high-temperature region in a chip member of the solid fuel gasification burner and in a wall material of a gasification furnace near the burner chip, so that safe operation of the gasification furnace is enabled.;SOLUTION: The solid fuel gasification burner includes: a solid fuel carrier pipe forming a solid fuel passage which passes a mixed fluid of solid fuel and carrier gas and spurts it into a gasification furnace; a gasifying agent carrier pipe disposed within the solid fuel carrier pipe and forming a gasifying agent passage which passes a gasifying agent and spurts it into the gasification furnace; an outer casing pipe disposed outside the solid fuel carrier pipe and forming a cooling medium passage with an annular section which passes a cooling medium; a cooling medium inlet pipe connected to the outer casing pipe to introduce the cooling medium into the cooling medium passage; and a cooling medium outlet pipe connected to the outer casing pipe to discharge the cooling medium from the cooling medium passage.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
