PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recombinant human serum albumin-metalloporphyrin complex having only one oxygen-binding constant (oxygen affinity), and an artificial oxygen carrier using the same.;SOLUTION: The recombinant human serum albumin-metalloporphyrin complex is obtained by introducing histidine, which can be coordinately bound to metalloporphyrin, by substituting at least one chosen from 142 isoleucine, 185 leucine, 186 arginine, 138 tyrosine, 115 leucine and 139 leucine by a gene recombination technology, substituting 161 tyrosine by a hydrophobic amino acid other than tyrosine by a gene recombination technology and introducing a polar amino acid for regulating orientation of the metalloporphyrin by substituting at least one chosen from 146 histidine and 190 lysine by a gene recombination technology.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
