LOW POWER ZIGBEE DEVICE AND LOW POWER WAKE-UP METHOD

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low power ZigBee device for switching from a sleep mode to an active mode in a ZigBee communication system, and a low power wake-up method thereof. PSOLUTION: Provided is the low power wake-up method including the steps of: setting a sleep timer and setting a sleep mode by cutting off power of a ZigBee device; when a wake-up event occurs, confirming whether it is a wake-up packet to the ZigBee device itself; applying the power to a MAC processing unit if it is a wake-up packet to the ZigBee device itself as a result of the wake-up packet conformation; controlling a modem unit and an RF unit by the MAC processing unit and checking an ID of the wake-up packet; and applying the power to a CPU when the ID is that of the Zigbee device's own as a result of the ID check.
