LIQUID COMPOSITION FOR PREVENTING CORROSION AND SCALING, AND METHOD FOR PREVENTING CORROSION AND SCALING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable and safe liquid composition for preventing corrosion due to water and scaling, which can prevent the corrosion in and the scaling on both of an iron-based metal and a copper-based metal at the same time, in a water circulation system in which the iron-based metal and the copper-based metal coexist.;SOLUTION: The liquid composition for preventing the corrosion and the scaling is produced by adding sulfuric acid to an aqueous mixture which includes (1) one or more selected from among zinc, zinc hydroxide, zinc oxide, zinc carbonate and zinc phosphate, (2) benzotriazole or a derivative thereof, and (3) one or more selected from among an organic phosphonic acid, a phosphinopolycarboxylic acid, a phosphonocarboxylic acid, phosphoric acid, a maleic acid-based polymer, an itaconic acid-based polymer, a sulfonate-group-containing polymer; and adjusting the pH of the resultant mixture to 0.5-2.5.
