PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure of a ridge beam or purlin of a lean-to roof which can simplify the operation of fixing the ridge beam or purlin of the lean-to roof to the outer wall of a building body while imparting higher strength to the outer wall of the building body by a bearing surface material, and a horizontal member receiving metal fitting. PSOLUTION: The joint structure of a ridge beam or a purlin of a lean-to roof is obtained by fixing the end of the ridge beam 3A or purlin 3B of the lean-to roof to the outer wall of the building body having a roof higher than the lean-to roof. The bearing surface material 6 is fixed to the lean-to roof-side surface of a vertical member 5 existing in the outer wall of the building body. The horizontal member receiving metal fitting 7 is fixed to the lean-to roof-side surface of the bearing surface material 6.
