PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide forceps for enhancing workability and operability not to catch a peripheral tissue in a treatment work by arranging a forceps piece opening/closing structure for preventing link plates for opening/closing forceps pieces from projecting outward in a forceps piece opening/closing operation.;SOLUTION: The forceps piece opening/closing structure for the forceps 100 includes: an operation rod 18 which is movable in an axial direction; a pair of forceps pieces 11, 12 supported by a rotation support part which is formed in a grip part terminal, so as to be opened/closed at the distal ends; and at least a pair of link plates 14, 15 arranged between the operation rod 18 and the forceps pieces 11, 12, where one ends are respectively rotatably supported in rear parts from the rotation support part 13a of the pair of forceps pieces 11, 12 and the other ends are mutually rotatably supported at interval by the operation rod 18.
