PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide equipment and a method for estimating an audibility characteristic, a program, and a device for estimating an audible range which enable easy and high-accuracy estimation of the audibility characteristic as to sound information emitted from a sound source.;SOLUTION: The equipment for estimating the audibility characteristic estimates the audibility characteristic showing the easiness to hear the sound information emitted from the sound source in an estimation object area. The equipment includes a propagation characteristic estimating means which estimates the propagation characteristic of the sound information emitted from the sound source, a noise information storage means which stores noise information in the estimation object area, and an audibility characteristic calculating means which calculates the audibility characteristic of the sound information in the estimation object area from the propagation characteristic estimated by the propagation characteristic estimating means and the noise information stored in the noise information storage means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
