PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor heating mat for nursing a newborn pig, preventing slip of the piglet and excellent in standing behavior and walking stability of the piglet. PSOLUTION: The floor heating mat 10 for nursing a newborn pig includes a surface plate 12 made of stainless steel, a sheet heating element 20 under the surface plate 12, a heat-insulating substrate 26 under the sheet heating element 20, and a bottom floor material 28 made of stainless steel and placed under the heat-insulating substrate 26. A plurality of recesses 16 are formed in the front surface 14 of the surface plate 12, the recess 16 has a diameter of 20 mm and the center-to-center distance between the nearest adjacent recesses 16 is 30 mm.
