PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic journal data browsing system for directly operating a display position of electronic journal data displayed to be browsed.;SOLUTION: In a state where a data reading unit 24 reads the electronic journal data stored in an electronic journal database 3 and a display control unit 23 displays the read electronic journal data on a touch panel display 1, a speed calculation unit 22 calculates moving speed of a finger of a user moving on the touch panel display 1 on the basis of the data obtained by a coordinate acquisition unit 20 and a time acquisition unit 21 and moves the display position of the electronic journal data to be displayed on the touch panel display 1 at the speed of the moving speed. Also, even if the finger detaches from the touch panel display 1, in accordance with the elapsed time from the time point of the detaching of the finger, the electronic journal data browsing system continues the moving of the display position on the touch panel display 1 at gradually decelerating speed by a predetermined speed from the moving speed at the time point at which the finger has detached until the speed becomes a predetermined speed threshold or lower.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
