PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management system, a document management program, a document protection program, and a document protection method by which the security attribute of a protected document can be inherited.;SOLUTION: A distributer terminal adds a newly generated document ID to an encrypted document file to create a protection document file and transmits a security attribute corresponding to an existing another protected document file to an access control server. The access control server is connected to a security attribute database where a document ID, an encryption key, and a security attribute for each document file are associated and registered, receives the newly generated document ID, the encryption key, and the security attribute with respect to the document file by the distributer terminal from the distributer terminal, and registers them in association with one another to the security attribute database.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
