PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt retractor capable of reducing assembly man-hours to a vehicle body while suppressing the increase in size as much as possible.;SOLUTION: A motor for rotating a spool for winding a seat belt and an ECU therefor are united to compose a motor/ECU all-in-one unit 23. The motor/ECU all-in-one unit 23 is supported on a frame 8 just below the spool. In this case, the motor and the ECU 25 are accommodated in a unit case 24, and a case body 24a of the unit case 24 is flatly supported on a unit stay 29.
