DILATANCY-INDUCING WATER-SOLUBLE BLOCK-LIKE COPOLYMER AND COMPOSITION HAVING DILATANCY PROPERTY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-soluble block-like copolymer that induces dilatancy property for an aqueous solution system, an aqueous solution composition that shows dilatancy property and has excellent stability, and an aqueous solution composition that causes gelation by flow.;SOLUTION: It has been found that a homogeneous polymer aqueous solution, which contains a water-soluble block-like copolymer having ionic blocks of the same ionic nature on both terminals and a nonionic hydrophilic block in the central part and an ionic water-soluble polymer having the opposite ionic nature from the water-soluble block-like copolymer, shows dilatancy property. Further, it has been found that a homogeneous polymer aqueous solution, which contains the water-soluble block-like copolymer having ionic blocks of the same ionic nature on both terminals and a nonionic hydrophilic block in the central part and the ionic water-soluble polymer having the opposite ionic nature from the water-soluble block-like copolymer, causes gelation by flow.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
