PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tamper resistant device capable of providing convenience to a worker in handling of disassembly work without immediately impairing predetermined information.;SOLUTION: In a wall-mounted terminal unit 1 used as the tamper resistant device, the release operation of a tamper resistant function is set on a touch panel type display part 2 by a terminal body part in the device, and disassembly procedure is regarded as normal if it is set, but regarded as abnormal if it is not set, and an alarm sound is emitted in an alarm sounding part in the device at the first detection of erroneous procedure according to the detected result of disassembly procedure from a first sensor part in the device. Further, release setting of the tamper resistant function is carried out again following the alarm, and then disassembly procedure is regarded as normal and permitted if it is set, but if it is not set in spite of the alarm, predetermined information (personal information) of an information storage medium 9 in the device is deleted at the further detection of erroneous procedure according to the detected result of disassembly procedure from a second sensor part, and the tamper resistant function is operated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
