IMPROVING METHOD OF ERHU CHINESE STRING BOW

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems that it takes a senior beginner considerable long time to master scale finger positions of erhu with 6-tunes, that the erhu is not practical, since a sound volume of a low sound region usually decreases to nearly a half of that in an pointing sound region, and that recently, two kinds of erhus made in China, to which a relaxation stop mechanism of a string shaft during performance of the erhu is mounted are on a market, but both have many components, and once a fault arises, it is hard to repair it. PSOLUTION: On the basis of a rule of sound, a sound region of two-octave of a current erhu is increased to three-octave by increasing a neck length, and by moving an interval of a bridge and a string holder. In addition to such an effect, by using a created fixed DO system, a scale finger position of C scale low point 15 provisionally designated as such and a holding position, even the senior beginner can play concert with different kinds of musical instruments without troublesome scale change. Moreover, a support tool is provided by using colored lines for indicating a scale on an upper face of erhu strings, and a sticker with numbered notes attached to inside of the neck, so that the scale finger position may be semi-automatically grasped in a short period of time. The relaxation stop mechanism of the string shaft which prevents relaxing or idle rotating of the string shaft by maintaining an original shape of the string shaft, without cutting or scraping etc. of the erhu which normally uses precious materials such as red sandal woods, ebonies, red trees or ivories.
