PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind-up tool for a conveyer belt capable of winding up the conveyer belt without damaging it and easily carrying out the installation of an auxiliary flange member and a method for winding up the conveyer belt using the wind-up tool.;SOLUTION: A plurality of mounting holes 6 are formed on side surfaces of a pair of flange members 4a, 4b. Auxiliary flange members 7 projecting outward from outer peripheral edges of the flange members 4a, 4b are attachably/detachably mounted to the mounting holes 6 through fastening members 8 such as bolts. The auxiliary flange member 7 comprises two sets of approximately triangular members 7a, 7a on one side, a member 7b constituting a central beam, and two connection members 7c, 7c for connecting base side terminal parts of the two members 7a, 7a.
