PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply, accurately, and easily measure an underground sound which can not be measured hitherto. PSOLUTION: This measuring apparatus is provided with a pickup sensor 3, a measuring section 5, a headphone 7, and a sound recording section 9. The pickup sensor 3 is composed of an acceleration sensor 15, a sound collecting bar 23 which is connected to this acceleration bar 15, buried in the ground, and made of metal to catch the underground sound, and a hand switch 25.
