PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for efficiently generating a secondary hydrate H having an enhanced gas content by reacting a primary hydrate h having a high water content with a gas g.;SOLUTION: In the apparatus for producing a gas hydrate, the following devices are connected into a closed loop state in this order with piping: a tubular reactor 5 in which a raw material gas g for generating a hydrate is reacted with a primary hydrate h to increase the gas content of the hydrate h, thus generating a secondary hydrate H; a collection device 7 for separating the secondary hydrate H and the gas g discharged from the reactor 5; a gas cooler 12 for cooling the separated gas; and a disintegration machine 4 for pulverizing the primary hydrate h supplied to the reactor 5.
