PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control constant design adapting device for motor-driven power steering allowing an unskilled operator to perform the adapting operation quickly and nevertheless capable of giving a constant steering feeling.;SOLUTION: The control constant design adapting device for performing the design and adjustment of the control constant of a motor-driven power steering device is equipped with a sensual word translating part 54 including a sensual word display selecting part 54b, a countermeasure control display selecting part 54d, and an interpreting image display part 54f. The sensual word display selecting part 54b displays on the screen the sensual words held previously and receives the selection of the sensual words by the operator. The countermeasure control display selecting part 54d displays on the screen the countermeasure control name given corresponding to the sensual word selected and receives the selection of the countermeasure control name by the operator.
