PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mushroom cultivation medium for Lentinus edodes, Pleurotus ostreatus, Pholiota nameko, Flammulina velutipes and Lyophyllum decastes, using Shochu (Japanese distilled alcoholic spirit) distilled Sake (rice wine) lees having sugarcane, barley or rice as the raw material, containing a large amount of high nutrients of the Shochu distilled Sake lees, homogeneous and enabling mass production at a low cost. PSOLUTION: This mushroom cultivation medium using the Shochu distilled Sake lees is obtained by mixing a dry solid obtained by drying the Shochu distilled Sake lees followed by removing water by mixing therewith crushed grains of a fibrous plant material, and adding water to the mixed product to adjust to a necessary moisture content.
