PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel stent inserted into a vessel without creating stress concentrated portions in the vessel. PSOLUTION: A vessel stent 11, which is inserted in use into a vessel of a living body, and which supports the vessel from inside, includes a tubular member 12 constituting a passageway from one end to its opposite end. The tubular member 12 includes a main mid portion 13 and low-tenacity portions 14 and 15 formed integrally with both ends of the main mid portion 13. On both the ends of the low-tenacity portions 14 and 15, a plurality of tiny holes 116 are formed so that they can be lower in density than the mid portion 13, with the number of the tiny holes 116 gradually increased towards the ends from the main mid portion 13 of the tubular member 12.
