PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deterioration accelerated test method by which the operating life of an electrophotographic photoreceptor can be determined in a short time, and a deterioration accelerated test apparatus used for evaluation thereof.;SOLUTION: The deterioration accelerated test apparatus includes a charger and an exposure device, wherein the case of the charger is formed of an insulating member and has an opening in at least the front face facing the photoreceptor and an exposure portion formed of a transparent insulating member which transmits irradiated light from the exposure device in the back face, and a plurality of discharge wires are stretched in the case in parallel with a photoreceptor surface and only in the same direction. Using the apparatus, passing charges are imparted to the electrophotographic photoreceptor in the same amount as the amount of passing charges in an actual printer and characteristic values at the end-of-life number of sheets are predicted in a short time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
