PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing of highly reactive coke with high strength, having both of coke tumbler strength (TI6400) and strength after the reaction (IRI25) on a reaction ratio of 25% in a reaction with CO2 keeping a desired level or more without using much amount of caking coal or a caking material.;SOLUTION: The method comprises use of only the coal with a middle degree of carbonization, containing a semi-fusinite exhibiting semi-melting characteristics of ≥25 vol.% in a inert component and having a maximum reflecting power (Ro) of 0.9-1.1 and a maximum flow rate (MF (log)(ddpm))) of ≥2.5 and of ≤3.4 as the coking coal for charging into a coke oven.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
