a. Washing and cleaning the external surface of edible eggs such as chicken eggs thoroughly using detergent followed by sterilization using 70% ethyl alcohol to decrease microbial load b. Breaking the outer shell of the eggs mechanically and pouring the contents in a sterile vessel c. Removing the central yolk portion by scooping out the same d. Subjecting the clear, cytoplasmic matrix to centrifugation at high centrifugal force to precipitate the insoluble particles/material e. Pouring out the clear cytoplasmic matrix f. Filtering the same through 0.45 filter after dilution with appropriate diluent such as normal saline or physiological buffer to obtain sterile liquid which can be used as replacement medium for FETAL CALF OR FETAL BOVINE SERUM.
