The invention relates to a hybrid type motorcycle with a drive wheel drivable by an engine or a motor, comprising a power shaft (52) rotated by an engine (30); a generator (60) for generating electricity through rotation of the power shaft (52); a drive wheel (10) driven through rotation of the power shaft (52); a power distribution unit (50) provided on the power shaft (52) for distributing drive force of the engine (30) to the generator (60) and drive wheel (10), and a motor (80) for rotating the drive wheel (10) with electric power of the generator (60); wherein the power shaft (52) is disposed perpendicular to a direction of travel of a vehicle (1). One of the generator (60) and the motor (80) is disposed at a longitudinally different position of the vehicle (1) with respect to the power distribution unit (50).
