The system has two attachment elements joined together, at least one at least partly bounding an accommodation chamber for the other. The first element can be fixed to a support and the second to an arrangement for attachment to the support. The second element has a contact arrangement with which it and the attached arrangement can be supported on the support and positioned and/or fixed in at least one spatial direction relative to the support. The system has first and second attachment elements (1,2) joined together, at least one at least partly bounding an accommodation chamber (9) into which the other can be plugged. The first attachment element can be fixed to a support (3) and the second to an arrangement (10,11) for attachment to the support. The second attachment element has a contact arrangement (20) with which it and the attached arrangement can be supported on the support and positioned and/or fixed in at least one spatial direction relative to the support.
