METHOD FOR SUBSTITUTION OF POSTRESECTIONAL DEFECTS AFTER SEGMENTAL RESECTION OF BONE CYSTS IN CHILDREN

A method for the substitution of the postresectional defects after the segmental resection of the bone cysts in the children comprises the rersection of the pathologically altered bone segment within the margins of the normal tissues followed by the substitution of the postresectional defects with the bioimplant using the matchstick graft technique and the fixation of the bone fragments. After the substitution of the postresectional defects with the bioimplant, the gaps between the elements of bioimplant and the metal fixator are filled with ceramic material based on tricalcium phosphate (Chronos preparation).
