METHOD FOR DISINFECTING ROOT CANAL IN ENDODONTIC TREATMENT

A method for disinfecting the root canal in endodontic treatment consists in irrigating the canal with the solution of sodium hypochlorite (2.5-5.2 %) followed by washing the canal with the sterile water or ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid EDTA (10-15 %). After washing the root canal, the ozone-oxygen mixture is applied with the aid of special device.
