A method for simulating long-term stress situations in areas of spreading of quarantine lepidopterous phytophages includes directed settling a parasite of phytophage eggs, in particular of Trichogramma, onto plants. In autumn in the period of migration of caterpillars for wintering, tree trunks, plant residues near tree trunks, with a radius of 70-, are treated with a 3.5-4.0 % aqueous solution of the biological preparation Pecilomin. In spring prior to the beginning of reactivation of caterpillars and pupae of the phytophages cleaning of the trunks and main branches of trees from the bark separating from the trunks is carried out. Collecting and burning the plant residues are carried out with the further digging the soil around trunk areas. Double settling of Trichogramma (Trichogramma evanescens Westw. species) onto trees in an equivalent of 60 and 70 females per one tree is carried out in the period of the beginning of egg laying of phytophage females and in 8-9 days.
