DEVICE FOR COLLECTING QUANTITATIVE SAMPLES OF ZOO- AND ICHTHYOPLANKTON

A device for collecting quantitative samples of zoo- and ichthyoplankton comprises a frame, a streamlined rigid body with wings, a deepener, a counter of the water filtered volume and filter gauze. The device comprises a horizontal steering wheel, 10 filter gauzes with plankton cups and a turbine with an axis. A mechanism for controlling the filter gauzes includes a reducer, a control rod, pushers, a divider and axles with fixing devices. An orifice of the filter gauzes is made as a rectangular one with rigid horizontal plates. Each upper horizontal plate of the preceding filter gauze is a lower plate of the next gauze and moves along internal vertical grooves in the body. The body is made as a rectangular one. The turbine itself is connected to the turbine axle by the mechanism for controlling the filter gauzes. The horizontal steering wheel is connected to a mechanism for closing the last gauze and flow indicators.
