Self-actuated opening and size-adjustable frame for reversible attachment of a covering in a building opening

The frame has multiple side elements (1, 2) that are flexibly connected with each other in a region of corners. An elastic covering element (5) is connected with the side elements. Side length of the side elements is adjustable for setting frame size. The covering element is simultaneously clamped by the frame with respect to the set frame size. Each side element has a telescope bar system including a spring (4) and two rods. The side elements are formed as hollow profiles and have a rectangular cross-section. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system comprising a window (2) a method for mounting a flexible frame with a cover for covering a building opening.
