PURPOSE: A procedure of a ship building method including a painting process of a cargo tank block is provided to effectually shorten a total building period of crude/product oil tanker ships. CONSTITUTION: A cargo tank block is completely formed in a preceding step(S100). The inspection of the cargo tank block, an air test, and a surface process is performed(S200). The inside painting of the cargo tank block is performed(S300). The cargo tank block is moved to a dock using a horizontal transporting device(S400). The cargo tank block is mounted and launched within the dock(S500).
