PURPOSE: A drinking water cooling apparatus is provided to maintain the low temperature of cooling water by forming thick ice around a refrigerant pipe. CONSTITUTION: A drinking water cooling apparatus comprises a cooling cycle(100), a water tank(200), a drinking water pipe(300), an impeller(400), and a cooling-water circulation guide(500). The drinking water pipe is arranged at the inner side of a coiled portion of a refrigerant pipe(130). The drinking water pipe is reeled in a rectangular shape in a multi-stage. A secondary refrigerant pipe(140) connected to the refrigerant pipe is installed inside the multi-layered reeled portion of the drinking water pipe. The secondary refrigerant pipe is reeled in a rectangular shape in the vertical direction of the water tank.
