PURPOSE: A red pepper system seed and plant named as SBR28-1244 are provided to produce red pepper having excellent character including PVY pathogen PO-resistance.;CONSTITUTION: A seed sample is sweet pepper system SBR28-1244 seed deposited under ATCC deposit number PTA-9352. The seed produces a plant. The partial plant is fruit, flowerpot, ovule or cell. A method for producing seed of the plant comprises: a step of hybridizing the plant with a second pepper plant; and a step of forming seed of the SBR28-1244-derived red pepper plant. A method for breeding of plant of SBR28-1244 comprises: a step of collecting tissues to breed; a step of culturing the tissue to obtain bud; and a step of planting the plantlet.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2010
