PURPOSE: An image signal processing apparatus, program, and display apparatus of this invention are provided to obtain high picture quality by suppressing influence of brightness change of horizontal and vertical directions.;CONSTITUTION: A first compensation value extracting unit(110) extracts a first compensation value per each pixel for compensating image signal for pixels of one line along the horizontal direction based on the inputted image signal. A second compensation value extracting unit(112) extracts a second compensation value per each pixel for compensating image signal for pixels of one line along the vertical direction based on the image signal. A third compensation value extracting unit(114) extracts a third compensation value per each pixel for compensating image signal for pixels comprising a screen displaying an image based on the first compensation value and the second compensation value.
