PURPOSE: A control device for a vehicle is provided to suppress shock which is generated in fuel cut recovery when shifting transmission and the deterioration of fuel efficiency. CONSTITUTION: An engine controller(10) controls a driving state of an engine. An automatic transmission controller(20) controls the shift state of a transmission. A control valve unit(30) controls the hydraulic pressure of each friction combining element based on an output signal of the automatic transmission controller. The engine controller and automatic transmission controller are connected through the communications line. Sensor data and control data are shared.
