PURPOSE: A clamping detecting device of an index table is provided to prevent damage to an sensor due to the excessive power.;CONSTITUTION: A clamping detecting device of an index table comprises a contact shaft(130), an elastic supporting body, a horizontal shaft(140), a pivot guide(150), and a contact sensor(160). The upper part of the contact shaft is projected on the upper side of a fixed table(120) and is touched with the lower part of a turn-table(110). The elastic supporting body supports the contact shaft in the lower part. The horizontal shaft has a connecting end part and a projected end part. The connecting end part vertically slides with the contact shaft. The projected end part is projected over an exterior of the fixed table.
