PURPOSE: A method and a system for supporting the purchase of a game item are provided to allow a user to obtain a desired game item even though the user does not have game money, thereby enhancing game item accessibility.;CONSTITUTION: A user interface unit(1110) receives a request to purchase a game item or a request to support the purchase of a game item from a user. A purchase support determining unit(1120) determines whether supporting the purchase of the game item is available and determines whether to support the purchase. If the support of the purchase is determined, a purchase support performing unit(1130) checks the request of supporting purchasing the game item to the user.
