PURPOSE: A washing apparatus is provided to reduce the vibration due to the rotation of a drum by forming a balance weight at the lower part of a tub separately from the drum and fixing a second tub to the lower part. CONSTITUTION: A washing apparatus is composed of a cabinet(10), a first tub(20), a second tub(30), a drum(40), first and second elastic members. At least a part of the first tub is directly connected to a part of the cabinet. A whole part of the first tub is directly connected to the inside of the cabinet. The second tub relatively moves with respect to the first tub. The second tub is connected to the elastic member capable of absorbing vibration at the lower part of the first tub. The drum is formed to be rotatable centered on a perpendicular axis in the first and second tubs. The first and second elastic members support the second tub.
