PURPOSE: An image forming system and an image forming method are provided to determine the execution of printing based on virtual imposition by printer driver side.;CONSTITUTION: A receiving unit receives an input about imposition setting. A generation unit(402) virtually imposes images from plural pages based on the imposition setting to one page, and creates a first image. An output unit(406) outputs the first image regardless the imposition setting restriction. A second generation unit creates specify information of the first image source.
