PURPOSE: A device for compensating and detecting symbol errors of a transport frame, a method thereof, a mobile broadcast receiver with the same, and a mobile broadcast system with the same are provided to implement a simple mobile broadcast receiver and to improve the reception performance of the mobile broadcast receiver. CONSTITUTION: A device for compensating and detecting symbol errors of a transport frame includes a symbol error location estimating unit(231), a symbol error compensating unit(232), and a decoding unit. The symbol error location estimating unit extracts a data symbol group, calculates an output ratio of data symbol pairs, and estimates the location of a lost data symbol. The symbol error compensating unit compensates errors of the lost data symbol. The decoding unit decides a decode signal using data symbols of which errors are compensated.
