A real time medical record system using electronic tags and portable devices and a medical record automation method adapted to the same are provided to prevent medical accident by storing the information related to medical action execution after the medical action. A staff ID information stored at an electronic tag or a barcode is read out(205), and the read staff ID information is transmitted through a network(210). Based on the staff ID information, it is determined whether or not the authentication for staff is performed(215). A patient validity check is performed based on the patient ID information(230), and an order validity check is performed based on order ID information(265). The order for the patient is executed, and order execution information is transmitted. The transmitted order execution information is stored at the database.
