1. A method for wireless communication between two or more devices at a minimum data transfer rate, the method comprising the steps:! a) determination of the energy level on one or more subchannels; and! b) selecting a modulation scheme for each of said subchannels based on the energy level determined for each of said subchannels. ! 2. The method of claim 1, further comprising selecting an error correction coding scheme for each of said subchannels based on an energy level determined for each of said subchannels. ! 3. The method according to claim 2, further comprising:! c) calculating the overall bit rate based on the selected modulation scheme and the selected error correction coding scheme; and! d) selection of a higher order modulation scheme on one sub-channel if the minimum data rate is greater than said full rate. ! 4. The method according to claim 2, further comprising:! c) calculating the overall bit rate based on the selected modulation scheme and the selected error correction coding scheme; and! d) selecting an error correction coding scheme with a higher error correction rate on one sub-channel if the minimum data rate is greater than said full rate. ! 5. The method of claim 1, wherein the modulation scheme is quadrature amplitude modulation. ! 6. The method of claim 3, wherein the modulation scheme for each of said subchannels is selected from 16-QAM, 64-QAM, 128-QAM, 256-QAM, 512-QAM, and 1024-QAM. ! 7. The method according to claim 2, further comprising:! c) data transmission on the mentioned subchannels using multiplexing with orthogonal
