The device (1) has holding bodies such as pressure pin (12), push button (13) and a ball (14) adjusted relative to a base body (11) in an operating position in which sealing of pipe socket is executed and in another operating position in which device is mounted. The holding bodies are rested at a change of cross section of a pipe socket or rested in a region of the pipe socket in the former operating position, and the device is inserted in to the pipe socket or transferred over the pipe socket in the latter operating position. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for pressure testing comprising a sealing device (2) a method for fastening a sealing device in a region of a pipe socket.
