The brake has a ramp arrangement (40) coupled with a piston (30) by pair of strut parts (60, 64) during parking braking. A return spring (90) is accommodated in a housing-fixed spring cage (84) and supported at one of the strut parts with an axial projection between the cage and a thrust bearing (58). The strut part (60) has an external thread screwed with an inner thread of the strut part (64), where a thread pair (62) formed by the threads between the strut parts is free from self-locking. The return spring is accommodated in a radial direction in the spring cage in a clearance free manner.
