The system (1) has interlocking hooks (2) held at a roof element, which is designed as a hard shell roof part or a front arch of a fabric roof. A hook retainer is arranged at the windscreen panel. Resting hooks (3) are provided at the roof element and attached to the interlocking hooks. The resting hooks are brought in contact with a resting retainer (9) i.e. bolt, which is provided at the windscreen panel. The resting hooks are released from the resting retainer, by swiveling of the interlocking hooks. The interlocking hooks are held on a shaft (4) connected with an actuating device (5).
