The oven (1) has a cooking chamber (2) housed in a cabinet (3) of the oven, and a blower (5) placed in an air circulation space (4a) defined by the chamber and the cabinet. A gas supply duct supplies gas to a gas burner (7) that heats the chamber. An air introduction channel (34) is extended from lower and base walls (10, 13) of the cabinet up to the burner so as to supply primary air to the burner. The channel traverses the space between the cabinet and the chamber.
